Benevento’s playfully menacing score—performed live with his trio—accompanies B-movie auteur Roger Corman’s House of Usher, starring the incomparable Vincent Price in the 1960 adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe’s short story. Telling the infamous tale of madness, debauchery, and the macabre, Benevento and House of Usher is diabolical fun.
