Nicanor is making a cup of illicit coffee one morning when he gets a visit from state security, with a twist.
About the Filmmaker: Eduardo del Llano is one of Cuba’s premier satirists. He has co-written a number of films, including Fernando Perez’s Life Is to Whistle, and was director of the theater group Nos Y Otros.
The three shorts that we are showcasing (Monte Rouge, PhotoShop, and High Tech)are part of what he calls his Decalogue; they parody contemporary Cuban life through the escapades of Nicanor O’Donnell, our everyman in Havana. Featuring the great Luis Alberto Garcia as Nicanor.
