Shot at Robert Frost’s summer home in Vermont, How the Cold Creeps mixes the elements and styles of a relationship drama and a suspense film. A couple travels to a cabin in the woods to spend a weekend together in nature, but as a series of pranks and misunderstandings unfold, their relationship slowly begins to derail, leading to the ultimate miscommunication.
